Student Massage

Your massage therapist will be a 2nd-year student. We’re happy to offer a receipt, please note that your insurance company might not cover student treatments, but your health spending may cover it.

Student massage refers to massage sessions provided by massage therapy students who are in the process of completing their training. Here are some potential benefits of student massage:

1.     Cost-effective: Student massages are often offered at a lower cost compared to those provided by licensed massage therapists, which can make massage more accessible for those on a budget.

2.     Opportunities for learning and growth: Massage therapy students have the opportunity to practice their skills and receive feedback from both their instructors and clients. This can help them improve their technique and gain confidence as they prepare to become licensed professionals.

3.     Provides relaxation and stress relief: Massage therapy, in general, is known to help promote relaxation and reduce stress. Student massage can be an effective way to experience the benefits of massage while supporting the education and growth of massage therapy students.

4.     Increased circulation and muscle relaxation: Massage therapy can help increase blood flow and circulation, which can promote healing and relaxation in the muscles.

5.     Helps address specific concerns: While student massage therapists may not have as much experience as licensed therapists, they are still trained to address specific concerns such as muscle tension, pain, and restricted range of motion.

Overall, student massage can be a cost-effective way to experience the benefits of massage therapy while supporting the education and growth of massage therapy students. However, it's important to keep in mind that the massage therapist providing the massage is still in training and may not have the same level of experience as a licensed therapist. It's also important to communicate any specific concerns or preferences you have with the student massage therapist to ensure a safe and effective massage experience.
